Extension Specialist level system
At Taylor Doz Salon, we offer two levels of expertise for hand-tied extensions: Extension Stylist (new talent) and Extension Specialist (intermediate). These levels reflect each stylist’s experience, education, and certifications in the art of hand-tied extensions. Installation pricing varies by stylist level, but the cost of hair remains the same across all levels.
To ensure you get the best possible experience, we’ll pair you with a stylist who aligns with your specific needs and budget. If you have a preferred stylist or were referred to someone specific, let us know when you call to reserve your consultation, and we’ll do our best to accommodate you.

Consultation
The consultation is a vital first step in your extension journey. During this time, your stylist will take the opportunity to understand your hair goals, address any concerns you have about your current hair, and discuss what you hope to enhance or improve. It’s a chance for us to connect, assess your natural hair, and ensure we’re aligned on your vision and desired outcome.
Your stylist will also walk you through the selected hand-tied extension method, provide a precise color match, and recommend the ideal number of wefts and rows needed to achieve your goals. Together, we’ll create a plan that feels achievable and tailored specifically to you.
Deposit
When you’re ready to move forward with your installation appointment, a non-refundable $500 deposit will be required to secure your booking. This deposit ensures your appointment is reserved and is applied toward the total cost. The remaining balance will be due at the conclusion of your appointment.

Before you go, your stylist will ensure you’re equipped with everything you need to care for your extensions, from washing and styling tips to maintenance advice, so you can enjoy your gorgeous new hair to the fullest.
Maintenance
Hair extensions require regular maintenance and the use of professional products to keep them looking and feeling their best. Your stylist will provide personalized recommendations to protect the health of both your natural hair and your extensions. After all, we’re here to help you make the most of your investment!
We’re committed to providing only the finest in hand-tied extensions, featuring expertly crafted wefts from Silx Global and Habit. Caring for your extensions at home with the products and techniques recommended by your stylist is essential to keeping them in top condition. Following a proper maintenance routine will help preserve the quality and extend the life of your extension hair.
Details, Prep + Pricing
First-time extension guests can expect to invest between $800 and $3,200. This includes premium Silx Global, Habit, or Bellami hair extensions, custom color, installation, a precision cut and blend, styling, and a product gift box. A non-refundable $500 deposit is required to book your appointment, which secures your spot and allows us to prepare your extension hair. The deposit will be applied to your total at the time of your service. Extensions require regular upkeep every 5-8 weeks, which may include color touch-ups or adjustments like a mini or full move-up, depending on your needs. Proper at-home care and the use of professional products are essential to maintaining your extensions. If your natural hair needs coloring, pricing will be discussed during your consultation. Additionally, extension hair typically needs replacing every 6-12 months or as recommended by your stylist.
Policies
Booking Your Appointment: A credit card is required to reserve your hair extension installation appointment. A $500 non-refundable deposit is also required to secure your booking and will be applied toward your service total.
Cancellation Policy
- If you cancel or reschedule with more than 24 hours’ notice, no charges will apply.
- Canceling within 24 hours of your appointment will result in a charge of 50% of the scheduled service total to the card on file.
- If you no-show or cancel on the day of your appointment, the full cost of the scheduled service will be charged to your card.
